I have never heard of ICORE until today.. but I am considering trying it. It requires 4 - 6 speed loaders or moon clips..
I dont have either for my 15-2.. so what fits them? which is better? (leaning towards moon clips if available)
I have heard that using speed loads tends to amr up the side of the gun.. anyway to minimize such scarring.

Moon clips would be the fastest for fast reloads. You would have to have your cylinder machined to accept them, and you more than likely would not be able to fire the gun w/o moon clips due to excessive headspace and/or a lot of unsupported case. Smith's 627 supposedly can be fired with or w/o moon clips but more than likely they tell you to only fire light .38 loads w/o moon clips. The other issue you will have is managing to find moon clips for the K-frame/DW, I was considering doing this at one time and gave up after Brownells and Midway both showed nothing and Brownells' tech support had no suggestions.
Safariland's Comp-3 is a pretty nice speedloader and darn fast once you get some practice, it really slaps them in there and chamfers on the chambers would aid in speed substantially.
here's a link to the speedloader

HKS 10A is the least expensive, readily available one:

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
