Is anyone familiar with these grips and who made them?

Not sure who, Pachmyer or Houge maybe, but they were for the Lil Dan model.

They are NOT for Lil Dan--  there may be some out there that fit Lil Dan and look similar, but those are for standard small frame DW's.  I have a few pair and a few other forum members have them as well.

They are awesome for CC--slap them on a 14-2 and you are good to go.

What was the little dan?

'Lil Dan - 5-shot very small frame .38+P cartridge.  Available with 2-inch and 4-inch BA's, though no one has ever seen one with a 4-inch BA.smile

Here's one in stock livery:

Here's a pair with LB dark zebra and light zebra grips:

Mitchell Arms grips- fits DW as they're the same gun.  IMO, Regards, Ron

Can they be purchased anywhere or are they not made any more, which is what I suspect.

You suspect correctly, not current manufacture and rarely seen in captivity.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Too bad! Nice grips! Interestingly, I found this in another thread.

I saw that too, right after I responded to your Topic. That is the Mitchell Titan/DW.

DW by design, Titan by name

DW by design? Was it licensed to them? What was the relationship?

I do not know who made them, I have some and they have no markings on them. They turn up very rarely. I agree with Shoot they make a fine carry grip-

Those look exactly what is on my Mitchell Arms Titan MK II.  I'm glad to see someone posting a picture of a Dan with the grip removed - it helps verify that the grips will fit my titan which has the very same handle. I'll post a pic. IMG_0846.JPGImage Enlarger

I bought several of these from CDNN years ago. They called them Dan Rubber at the time. No idea who made them. Nice for ccw though.
