Just like the title states would you love to see a new version of a 722 that holds 10 22lr? seems like the two heavy hitters have jumped into the swing of things (S&W 617 and Ruger GP-100) I know its a pipe dream but heck one can wish. I love the idea of 10 shots for a range/backpack revolver
I cant speak for all but once I buy a 357 revolver I start dreaming of getting the same thing in 22lr for cheap practice range day fun especially when I take friends and I want to warm em up with something less noisy/jumpy

I appreciate your enthusiasm for Dan Wesson revolvers, unfortunately, CZ does not give a crap for them.
From a cost standpoint, before they jump into new design for a 10 shot .22, they could very easily re-introduce .44 Magnum and the SuperMags (which sell for BIG $$$) just as quickly. Those are known, proven designs and the the used market in .357 SM/.445 SM/.460 Rowland, .45 Colt, etc. is very pricey.
Careful observers of CZ's stewardship of the Dan Wesson brand have seen maximum leverage of the 1911 market, which they have managed perfectly. The only push into the revolver market has been pretty feeble, with a premium priced 715 in very limited quantities.
But, We Keep Hope Alive!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The most cost effective introductions would be built on the small frame which they already have the work processes in place. I cannot for the life of me understand why this gun is not in full production in the few calibers that it was originally offered. Considering the explosive popularity of .22lr in recent years, it seems this would have been a no-brainer (even in the 6-shot configuration), and even despite the short supply of ammo. it still would be a seller. Yet the biggest news to come out of the SHOT show this year regarding revolvers is the .357 is going to be offered in a pistol pack with 4", 6". and 8" barrels. This gun was re-introduced in 2011 again and it's taken 5 years to come up with the idea of 3/4 a pistol pack? There must be some logical reasoning behind all this that none of us will ever understand, but at the end of the day I believe it's time to give up on the hope and enthusiasm that has been held on to for so long, and move on to "bigger and better" things.

Harly, I understand what you are saying, and I'm not saying you are wrong.
MSRP on a CZ 715 6VH is $1168. After some initial interest (sales), it was a fairly stagnant item in the marketplace, largely unnoticed because CZ did not make very many. There was more interest in the "blems" because they sold at a more reasonable price. Will there be much interest in an $1100+ six shot stainless revolver in .22lr?
Pistol Pack? The CZ 715 was sold in a case with spaces built in for the other three B/A's. I never priced it, my guess is that it would have cost a least $600 to fill out the Pack buying the remaining B/A's, so close to $1800?
CZ tried to leverage the DW 1911 success story to the 715, it didn't work.

Steve - very good point I didn't even consider. An $1,100 .22lr would be a hard sell in the market. The S&W 617 (which is a superb revolver w/ a 10 round cylinder) is readily available in the market for around $700. I picked up the 4" brl. model last year and put a set of Altamont conversion target grips on it - it's solid and just as smooth as silk.
I believe CZ has the 3/4 pack (sans the 2.5" brl) priced about $1,650. The price has to come down or it will never be successful.
