I used to use this site a lot when I was looking to by a DW. After I got mine - I haven't been here much. I came on a while back and got chastised for not doing a proper introduction.
All that is behind me now. 😉
I moved to Canada and since I can't hunt with a handgun I don't see any reason to keep my beloved DW. This gun is ACCURATE - I love it. But, time to move on.
I thought I had an entire kit. But, it seems I was wrong. See the pix. I have 2 barrels and 2 shrouds, a wrench, and 3 grips.
There are a couple guys who want to buy this. I have no idea what I should sell it for. I don't need to pay off the house - but I want to get a fair price.
Would you experts on here mind giving me an idea of what I should ask. It's in great shape. There are a couple of small nicks on the trigger shroud - it's in the pix. Otherwise it's in super shape. Bluing is gorgeous. Pictures show.
I have some ammo kicking around. Not sure if it's worth shipping.
Thanks in advance for the help.
You are not missing any pieces. What you have is a 44 mag pack, not a 15-2 pack. They came with a 6 and 8 " VH shroud and 4 barrels. 2 ported and 2 non ported. You can buy 4" and 10" BAs if desired but they were not standard.
Prices are rising for 44 mags. I would put the value at 1250 to $ 1450. If the pieces were sold individually maybe more. The Zebra wood grip would go for around 250 on eBay right now. Maybe more as that is an exceptional grain. The ripped fabric in the case is a small negative. BTW, it is called a trigger guard, not a shroud.
Are you ever moving back to the states? You may want to keep it. They are also good for home defense although in Canada I am not sure if they have the castle doctrine. It may be criminal to protect yourself in your home in Canada. If you sold it in the US you may have a 25% tariff on the steel. Lol.

Thanks again for the prompt reply. If I move back it won't be for 5 years or so. My kids are in school and I'm kinda stuck until the older one graduates (for a variety of reasons).
Canada does not have a 'castle doctrine'. If you are being threatened there is more leeway - but you can't shoot someone for stepping int your house.
I bought this to hunt boar in CA. I never got one but I got to carry it around a lot. 🙂

Just out of curiosity, does this mean that this gun is California "legal"? Or does "CA" refer to Canada?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
