I recently bought a DW 357 and I have no idea what model or frame size it is. It needs a new set of grips but I don't know what to order. It is a Monson made 2" snub and all it says is "Dan Wesson Arms 357 Magnum CTG" on the bbl. The serial number is 37489. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

That's an older serial number - does your removable barrel shroud have a long extension that goes down the front of the frame?
Regardless of that question the following is true:
If it has a fixed rear sight it is a model 14.
If it has an adjustable rear target sight it is a model 15.
Either way it is a "small frame revolver" with a square tang for the grip.
Any and all small frame grips will fit it - many are for sale on eBay and GunBroker most of the time.
Be aware that the smaller "undercover" style grips use a short grip screw and the larger target and combat style use a long grip screw.
Cruise around the forum, we have a lot of posts on this topic - and now that you're a certified DW owner, think about becoming a member!

You know, I was thinking that I should use an alternate EMail address, and register as #500, just so I could have the privilege of buying Jody his 32-20, and now it's too late. Darn!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
