Hi
I am new here and also very new to Dan Wesson revolvers. I have a Model 15 and was wondering if it is possible to change the caliber of this gun to 32 H&R by buying a new barrel and shroud for it and finding a 32 H&R cylinder? Can this be done or am I just dreaming? Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks Graydog

Welcome to the DWF. To answer your question, anything can be done if you want to bad enough, but probably not as easy as you might hope. DW used different threads on each caliber barrel and frame to prevent an accidental mismatch caliber and barrel. If you really want this conversion you will need to have a custom barrel built and a 32 cal cylinder fitted. The shroud will work, just the stamped caliber on the shroud will be a misnomer. If you do go this route just be sure you never fire the 357 cylinder with the 32 barrel. The reasons are obvious.
