Took the 15-2 out for a walk today and had an odd problem to say the least.
I already know that if the rounds slip to the rear of the cylinder I may have problems with the rims hanging up on the frame and this is not that issue. I discovered this problem with dummy rounds.
Today while shooting some Fiocchi fmjtc ammo I had a problem with the full trigger pull not discharging the round. Not anything new, I've had this happen 6 out of 50 rounds the first box I tried and attributed it to hard primers.
Well as luck would have it, about 1/2 way through the box (alternated with it and my Glock 34), I pull the hammer back and pull the trigger, it fires and the trigger stays fully rearward with my hand fully removed. I had a huge WTFO moment. Opened the cylinder and spun it a bit, checked the rounds, replaced and closed the cylinder. 2 more rounds down the pipe and it did this again. I checked the barrel and it was getting a bit warm.
Anyone ever experience this issue? Think it might be a timing issue or more of the round shifting problem since I was shooting 357 and not 38 this time?

I've never had an issue like that but from the way you've described it, I'd say it has nothing to do with the ammo. The issue is internal; I'd start with a disassembly and inspection, pay particular attention to your springs and their placement to see if one is broken, weak or slightly out of place.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

That's actually a fairly common problem that is usually easilly fixed by a thorough cleaning and an inspection of parts.
If you decide to go inside, order a Wolff reduced power trigger spring and hammer spring while you are at it...small investment for peace of mind.

If you can tie your shoes, you can remove the sideplate ... Just remove the grip, the two sideplate screws, and gently work the sideplate off. If it is stiff, you can pull the hammer back and use a piece of wooden dowel, a plastic pen, etc to lift the rear of the sideplate by inserting dowel in the slot where the hammer travels.

Interesting that you had that issue with that particular ammo.
I shot off 200 rounds of it today without one misfire. Love the stuff ~ keeps the
revolver dryer / cleaner than the leaded nosed ones. Price is right and groups well
enough for me.
Sad to hear ~ bad batch from the factory?

I had the trigger sticking back issue on mine. It was the trigger stop screw on mine, an easy fix thanks to everyone here.
I agree with Wheeler, his previously problem sounds the same.

Talk about beat your head on the wall confused.....
I fired 18 more rounds through it today. I did perform the overtravel stop adjustment, so that may have corrected part of the issue.
6 with the hammer fully rearward
12 with a full trigger pull
Not a single problem.
Next I'll be picking a few boxes at random from the case and randomly picking a few rounds from each box to see if any will fail or have hard primers...or if the overtravel adjustment did the trick.

Update!
Thanks to those who suggested checking the trigger overtravel stop. That little adjustment did the trick. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my barrel seated in the proper postion when firing .357 Magnum ammo.
Rule of thumb with DW's is obviously disassemble, clean, reassemble, and regap the pistol after use.
