I bought a 4" 15-2 at a show and am working to make sure it's in fighting shape. Once I get a couple hundred rounds through it, I think I might try to find a snub barrel and shroud. Is this a good option for concealed carry should I go down that route? What about grip size? Is there a standard small DW grip I haven't come across?
Does anyone out there concealed carry their Dan?

This smaller sized factory DW grip pops up from time to time.
I'm sure that LB custom grips could set you up with a finely crafted serviceable grip as well.
Unfortunately a 15-2 is kind of a large framed gun, compared with say a J-frame.
Even the rare 38 Spl Lil-Dan is a somewhat large revolver.
Bigger sized folks can and do carry them concealed however.

I have a 14-2 with a 2 1/2" barrel and I use it as a carry weapon. It has a fairly rare small rubber grip, but if you watch Ebay there are many size grips you can try. LB makes his Shootist wood grip that is based on the small rubber grip that I have. For me, the main attraction of a Dan small frame as a carry piece is the smooth short trigger pull in double action. I can actually hit a target with it at combat ranges which I cant do with any other brand of DA revolver. The Dan is rather heavy for carry but I like the stopping power of 357 magnum and even the short 2 1/2" barrel makes shooting it tolerable to control.
If clothing or circumstances make carrying my 14-2 not practical, I stick a Ruger LCP in my pocket.
One disclaimer! At this point in time all Dan Wesson revolvers are old. I will only carry a firearm that is absolutely 100% reliable. I trust my 14-2 because when I bought it, it appeared very lightly used. After the Average Joe tuneup it is super smooth and has never had a hiccup in operation. If it ever gives me trouble it will no longer be carried. After every trip to the range it gets completely torn apart cleaned and VERY lightly lubed.

Lonwolf what kind of grip is that?
I do not know who made it. It has no markings in or out. It is the two piece design, the only guns I have seen them on are Mitchells. I have only seen one of these grips come up on Ebay in the last few years. I bought it.

Those are "Danrubber" grips -- originally made by Uncle Mike's (I believe). They were originally on the Mitchell Titans. The last time they were available for purchase was years ago through CDNN. I as well as a few other members have them. They are kind of scarce.

I prefer to carry my 15-2 2 1/2" VH whenever possible. Normally this is in cooler months when a sweat shirt or jacket is available to cover. I like the option to carry 38 special or 357 mag. The revolver weights 2+ pounds and does not compare well to a light weight J frame revolver when it comes to overall weight being carried. Overall the 15-2 fits my hand well, I have shot it for many years and it is the most accurate firearm in my hand that I can carry.

I like the 14-2 snubbie with a hogue rubber grip in a shoulder or sling holster.
Walking around with the Dan loose is like getting used to lifting heavy weights and then picking up something lighter concerning the S&W j frame. Makes the j frame seem like nothing at all.

This is another topic that comes up from time to time - my answer to this one doesn't change. Tried it a couple times and put it back in the safe. There are too many better alternatives out there – S&W 360PD revolver weighing in at 12 oz., or in a semi. Ruger LCP or 9, Beretta 84 or 92 compact. There’s a slew of modern CCW products out there today that fit the bill much better.

Where did you get that holster? Looks made for the Dan, I like it.
Scorpio, I've found that holsters made for the Colt Python work equally for DWs. As an answer to the OP I have concealed a 4" 15-2 in a Tom Threepersons style from El Paso Leather but it takes a long cover garment.

As much as I (and harly) love DW .357's, this has never been my CCW choice.
My "serious" carry choice is a 1911 Commander (used to be a S&W Model 59), my most of the time CCW choice is is an LCP.

I don't carry a DW revolver for CCW, but, if you are inclined to carry a revolver, I don't see why it wouldn't be a good choice. The S&W 686 and 686+ are regularly used as carry revolvers. The DW may be a bit larger, but I wouldn't think too much.
Were I to carry one, I would use a Pachmayr Gripper grip. These are hard to come by, but do come up for sale usually in the $65 to $85 range on eBay and gunbroker. It's rather pricey for a rubber grip, but then they are very popular and the supply is limited.

I have sometimes carried a DW .357 concealed, unfortunately the only holster I had was and OWB, which was not a great CC choice, had to wear it under a jacket. And it was always in 4", if I could carry a 1911 or full size 9MM, no reason to not carry a 4" .357.
