Hey guys,
I have a 14-2 and was looking to get the front sight conversion many of you talk about on this forum from EWKarms. However, almost everything on the site is out of stock. I signed up for the email, but I also noticed several of the posts about EWK are years old. Are they still in business? Does their inventory just get snapped up quickly when it releases? Any ideas how long stock takes? Weeks? Months? I emailed but have not received any response yet. I also saw other discussion about the barrel conversion vs other sight factory sights and wanted input. Would one of the shorter factory sights like the ps4 work well? Also what were the different heights ps1-4 designed for? Is their a specific range each was meant for or was it just customization to help with different loads? Thanks!

Just received a new fiber optic front sight about 2-3 weeks ago from EWK. Don't know what's going on.So many things are on back order because of the Woo-Flu it's crazy.I've been waiting for some cast bullets for over two months now, so it might be a supply issue.
Beware of what you ask for, you might just get it.

Eric has a very responsible job and produce EWK products in his spare time. Maybe one day he will retire and do EWK full time. In the meantime, be patient and haunt eBay.
I am not sure what PS 1-4 is. I think you have a 14-2 and want to use a 15-2 shroud? You would need a shorter front sight? The interchangable front sights come in the standard height and as far as I know, rarely a shorter version. Patridge sights do come in different heights and different widths for the longer barrel lengths. Also rear sight plates come in narrower gaps for the longer barrels. EWK sells the Patridge sights but the colored insert sights that are shorter are only seen occasionally on eBay.

The shorter. lower profile front sights were supplied with earlier production 22 Dan Wessons. Eventually they supplied the same height sights on all the small frames irregardless of caliber.

I installed mine last night, but not sure it's supposed to tip down like that.
