Yes you have a fixed barrel model. I believe seeing somewhere that the model number would be 715FB, but don't hold me to that part. How does she shoot?

Yep, that's a fized barrel gun. Is this one you bought, or one you're looking at? Here's a thread from member Mars , when he first joined the site. He's got a nice fixed barrel gun too.Smile

No it is not mine. Just saw it while reading up on DW's for about 4 hours last night. I got it bad I guess.  Laugh  Is there a cure for DWM (Dan Wesson Mania)?

No known cure I am afraid.  I do believe however it is not a terminal illness, at least until your wife gets tired of the medicine required to keep this illness from progressing and takes away the checkbook and credit cards  lol2

Of course there's a cure.  It's called DWAS (Dan Wesson Acquisition Syndrome, for the uninitiated), and as soon as you acquire all of the DW's on the planet you're cured!rofl

You beat me in on this oneFrown

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes they produced large frame fixed barrel revolvers. I have held a 44FB. Not sure what all calibers they made though.

I'm not for sure but I believe that the fixed barrel version was only made in .357 and .44.

If anyone has one in a different caliber please let us know!

Sharp looking revolver there!

Mine is a 4" barrel.  That one looks a little long to be a 2" doesn't it?

I wonder if they made something in between?  It looks very similar to my Palmer gun.

Mine is a 44. I've been away for a while... I see the fixed barrel discussions are still swirling.

744H, 4" fixed Palmer, MA
