Yes I have. I ordered some back when I first got a 357 Max.

I sent back all the boxes I had purchased and they replaced them with new. I have not had these case splitting issues since but I have been shooting more my reloads than the Jamison. Buy a box or two and see how it works for you. Plus I have always found Midway USA to have great customer service and the Jamison Co. also had okay customer service. I mean they did what they thought best to make it right they offered a total refund or replace with more ammo, so I figured I would give them a second chance. I might have to go out and get the 357 Super MAG dirty today and put some Jamison Down Range if time allows.

New gun is at LGS and they had no one there today to do a FT. I'll wait to see the gun before I decide.
Have you reloaded any of the J brass ??
Glad I could make you itch to go shoot it, let me know how they work this time !
I can't find in writing anywhere about 158gn and flame cutting, I may be wrong, but I thought that 170gn + was
applying to .375 SMs and 414s ?

As I said in the other thread, it is a combination of factors, with muzzle velocity an important one.
Reliable bullet weights for this caliber go up to 200-grain. 170+ was the solution to flame cutting in the early days, because those velocities were much lower than the 110 and 125 grain bullets going over 2,000 ft. sec.
