I have been a vintage Colt and Smith and Wesson lover for a few years and saw a Dan Wesson 15-2 in .22lr (8" barrel) for sale locally and decided to take a chance since the owner was selling in for 4 bills. It came with all the paperwork, two original grips, the barrel tool, the gage tool, the oringinal gun pouch, AND even the cardboard box it came in!! I would say it is in 98% Almost new aside from a faint turn ring.
I just want to know how I did relative to the market on one of these? Dan Wessons are not in my wheelhouse but I have heard they are great guns and have also heard they are going up in price. Not sure what they sell for generally these days but but felt I couldn't go wrong at $400.
I'll try to upload pictures soon.

I'm guessing that you tried to post some photos, but they do not appear for me.
Anyway - You did very well on your purchase, assuming the DW is in good condition as you expect from its appearance. $400 is probably slightly below the market price for the pistol alone. All the extras are a bonus.
You will enjoy it!
