Got my pair of new grips from LB 

WOW I wish I could post pics ( don't bother telling me how to-- I've tried)

they are spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he used the purple heart wood i sent him and man o man did he nail it!

these are now the presentation grips for my 357 max and 22laughinglaughing

and a BIG THANK YOU to Jody for posting these pics for meoccasionoccasion

Amen to the praises for LB. worship I just got a beautiful Thumb Rest in walnut for my 741. Will post some pics soon.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

OK Bruce Ill moderate myself, whippingbig-grin Seriously guys,  Crotch wood comes from the (crotch) or fork of the tree causing unique highly figured grain.  Just in case somebody was confused.

Might look a little like this?

Pretty sure there are only two of these in existence.

Special, two of a kind, grips. Now in the hands of two American Heroes

LB made the grip for me as a special item (and would not accept any payment) once we knew our son was coming home in one piece. Our son now has this grip on my first ever gun, the 15-2 that Started It All for me.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
