Large Frame Grip Question

OK, here's a really off the wall question for you guys.
Does anyone know what the tang angle is on a large/SM frame, within say +/- 5 degrees? I have decided to take on this grip project but it will probably become one of my many started but never completed projects. I just feel the need to do something with this piece of wood and think it would make for a nice grip or 3.
