It seems like I've seen something here somewhere about where to get spring kits for the large frames.  I have two being blued and he will put in new springs for nothing since they're already stripped down.  I have no reason to think there is anything wrong with the existing springs but when they can be replaced for only the cost of the parts I'd be foolish not to.  But try as I might, can't find any.  Any ideas fellas?

I don't think EWK has a Large frame spring kit, and his website appears to be offline right now. You could try Dan Wesson in Norwich, NY. The certainly have them, but there was recently a fire at their facility and they may be a little challenged right now.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks Steve.  They aren't able to fill any orders until early next year sometime.  I was hoping I might be able to find someone else that carries them.  Looks like pretty long odds though.

I've thought about getting some spares but have never seen any kits for a large frame. So I guess the only game in town is CZ? Seems like someone, hmmmmm...... could come up with one. I'm sure it would sell.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

It would appear the link on the fiorum is bad. Try:

http://www.ewkarms.com/store

didn't see ant large frame parts, however.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Thanks Ron.  As I said, I don't really need springs but since the guns are completely torn down for bluing I thought I might put them in since there is no charge for the work.

btw I'm from the land of Black Shirts also.
