Are they available?  If so, where?

For those following the saga/drama/romance with the rear sight of "my" (note quotes) newly acquired first DW...

The minute I get the rear sight adjusted, and turn the gun over to my wife, it will become "hers", and I'll only be able to shoot it on special occasions.  The very next minute, she will be lobbying for Laser grips for it.  If they're available, I want her to have them, even tho' they'll cost more than the gun.

Thanx from a short-time DW owner.

Just got off the phone with Keith from CZ USA DBA DANWESSON (according to my Caller I.D.).  Really appreciate his returning my earlier call.

He told me there are no laser grips for 14-2.  No surprise, but I was hoping...

no on the laser grips...

However, a good machinist would be able to embed a nice laser into a VH shroud...Wink

Now who do we know that could get the job done...poke

Okay...  What's a "VH shroud"?  And I don't have a clue who could do it (you?)

I was thinking one could make an aluminum adapter that would allow you to install S&W grips (or Ruger or Colt or whatever would work best … aren't there other companies that use a post/tang type grip too?).

Actually grips for a Ruger SP101 or LCR might be easisest to make an adapter for.
