Hi Folks! New member here.. I just ordered a Dan Wesson 715 pistol pack, and I’m pretty enthusiastic to get my hands on it.. Can anyone recommend a leather holster that would be suitable either the 4” barrel or the 6” barrel? I’m kind of old-school and prefer tan leather over the modern tactical stuff. Thanks in advance for any pointers and I look forward to being part of the forum here!

Just about anything that will fit a Ruger GP100. They are virtually the same size/dimensions. Here is one on the Midway USA site that says it fits the DW 715:
In fact, whether you choose a GP100 or a DW 715, it's the same product # and UPC code.

And here are some holsters from the Bianchi website.

You might check out "Simply Rugged" Sourdough pancake holster. They have a variety of colors and embossing patterns or you can go basic as I did. I believe they do custom work too. Check their website. They do nice work and hire vets. I've got one for my GP100 4" 357 that can be worn IWB or OWB. I prefer IWB because it helps keep the weight of the gun from pulling down on the belt. I was surprised how well the 40 ounce GP carries IWB.

Diamond D Leather in Wasilla, Alaska makes leather to fit DW. I picked up a shoulder rig for a 44V8 not too long ago. Nice work! I talked to them about making a set of hip holsters (with flaps) for 44VH4 & 44VH6. They said no problem.
Our first holster from them was a shoulder rig for the Wife and her S&W 329. She likes the set-up. She has some shoulder issues and the nice lady at the shop showed her how to redo the straps to make it work for her.
