No, but understand that I am not a Lil Dan Fan. I think $799 can be better spent, and $999 is ridiculous.
Looks like it is in good shape and pretty complete, so ...
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The common answer you're going to get from everyone is "it depends on how bad you want it". I don't have any use whatsoever for a 738P so for me I'd spend my $800 somewhere else. For someone looking to fill a hole in a collection it may be worth every penny. If you're just looking for a small revolver, there's a ton of options out there at this price.

Does have the hard to find box with the proper paper work, the paper work is only for the Lil' Dan. IMHO Normal prices range from $625 to $750 without box and paper work. Box has torn corner. Would appeal to someone wanting to fill a hole in their Dan Wesson collection.

I just sold mine for $650, no box or other goodies. Most folks who own these are filling a hole in a collection. If you need one, the opening price doesn't seem too out of line compared to what other Dan's are doing.

No, I did not, but this one sold for $999.00. I find that a little hard to believe, but there are not a lot of them out there.

That would be me that bought the Lil Dan on Gun Broker last night. I am a DW collector and have been looking for one for a while. This one has the box, paperwork and tools which is hard to find. I live by the rule if you are satisfied you didn't pay too much.

I agree, value is only what a buyer deems it to be worth. In the past, I have paid more than the going rate for some of my DW's & I was fine with that. Now the market has gotten to the point where all mine are all cheap!

Absolutely! Couldn't agree more. If you want it and are willing and able to pay the price, then it's a bargain.
