I do not. I live in Mississippi, and yes I would worry alot about moisture. Plus I shoot I mine and did not want the wear and tear on the case.
Instead of trying to keep moisture away... i just take mine out and give it some good oil luvin' rather often.
For storage I use this:

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.

For long-term storage, make sure the gun and barrels are cleaned and well lubricated. Run a patch with a light gun oil through the bores, and oil all the exterior surfaces. Double over a piece of wax paper and wrap them in the wax paper. It will keep the moisture off and keep the lubricant in where you want it and off the interior of your pac case.

Thanks for the wax paper idea. I was thinking about throwing some of those moisture absorbing packs in with my pistol pack when I put it in the safe. My brother has a Browning gun safe, and I think it's climate controlled. So shouldn't be much moisture in there, everthing I've had in it for the last couple years has been fine with no rust when we get them out and clean and oil them.

Here's my long term "storage" story:
Bought my 15-2 new in 1977, and shot it a lot, along with a few other guns, but the 15-2 was my first gun. Life, work, and family interrupted my shooting life, and everything but the 15-2 was sold off. The DW went into pretty negligent storage in a cloth bag packed away with other rarely seen possessions. This gun moved from Michigan>Iowa>Michigan>Ohio>Michigan>Connecticut. Once curious kids started growing up a long shackle padlock went through one chamber to make it safe, and it just laid around in attics and basements until about 2002-3.
"Someone" wanted to learn how to shoot, as part of that process the 15-2 came back out of "storage", cleaned up pretty good, and still shoots the lights out.
Still all original bluing, shown with the original grips:
It's an heirloom now.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

A lot of the new guns I get in come wrapped in the brown VCI paper which works well also. I like the wax paper because it retains the oil and lubricant I apply to the metal surfaces. Browning Arms must like the idea also. I got in a couple new Belgium Browning Hi Powers recently and guess what they were wrapped in.....yep - wax paper!
