to the forum, Mike.
Although I can't claim to know of all the DW finishes with certainty, I don't recall seeing a brushed nickel finish as an option as of yet. I'm wondering if it could be a finish that someone had done sometime after the gun was built...or it could be a stainless gun.
We'd love to see some pics, if you have some available.
As to it's value, I would guess somewhere in the $500 range so far. It could be more, if it's got the box, tools & paperwork.

Welcome Mike.
Depending on when the gun was made the serial number may provide a clue. Some DW model 15/715's hade serial number prefixes. If yours does and the prefix is SD or 357S, it's a stainless steel gun. I'm inclined to believe that is what it is, since the only nickle finishes I've seen on DW's are polished. However, I haven't seen every DW.
If the serial number has no prefix, then ignore this reply because all bets are off.
I say and post the pics.

Nice, a Porkchop 15, too! (I have a weakness for the 'ol Porkchops )
There was definitely an option of a nickel finish on those early Model 15's, but as of yet, I haven't seen mention of a brushed nickel finish. Again, not to say that I know all there is to know about DW's just yet. The gun sure does look nice, I agree...almost too nice ...it doesn't look like it's even got a turn line on the cylinder, or wear on the crane pivot.
Does the seller say whether or not it's been fired? Just going by what I can see, I bet it's been recently re-finished. I'd sure like to hold it in my hand, to get a closer look.
