Got a new 4" BA from Eric and was shooting away today. Very nice product I will say. Was cleaning the pistol at home and found a part missing.
The part is not listed on any parts diagram I can find. It might appropriately be called a cylinder slide stop. It's the little bump on the side plate at the bottom rear of the cylinder. It must be a press fit into the side plate that fell off during recoil.
Where in the "world" can a guy get this part?
Thanks,
Michael

The early manufacture sideplate/cylinder stop had a very clearly defined, sharply machined profile. Later versions had the cylinder stop more integrally "smoothed" into the sideplate, making the design much more robust. 715's, for example, never have this problem.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Not dumb at all MC! 'Keith' is the main man at the Dan Wesson Firearms plant in Norwich. He is generally revered among Dan Wesson fans. Pretty much any time you see someone here or on the Dan Wesson subforum of the 1911forum.com refer to 'Keith' that is who they mean.
Here are some contacts for the Norwich plant if you want to inquire about parts or service- https://www.danwessonforum.com/faqs/where-can-i-order-parts/
