It's a .44 and the seller wanted $750. I didn't pay that….but ….what would have been a good price ?
$749.
J/K From what I can see, I think that anything $650 or under would have been a decent price, and if you ended up in the $500 range, that's
territory.
It's very photogenic, I see.

Yep ! $500 , I went to the show looking for a .44 but after seeing only one little
22 V4 DW at over 400 tables, needless to say I was getting discouraged. I was to
the last 50 or so tables when I ran on to the guy. Like I said, seller started at $750
but I only had 5 bills in my pocket and I showed them to him. He made a face for about
20 min that looked like when my wife gave child birth and he finally gave in. I know
someone out there has probably bought a .44 for $275 or $350 but I just can't
imagine that this gun could have looked any better the day it came out of the
factory, it is really, really clean. Here's the kicker, I no more than walked away with
the purchase and turned the corner and there was a .357 SuperMag Monson with extra
unused barrel and a box of ammo for $675 . The gun had a good cylinder ring mark
and a little, almost no, top strap cut. Everthing was tight and it came in same type
styrofoam and outer sleeve box as the .44 I bought. Now I am not saying I wanted
to give back the .44, I just wish I had an extra 4 or 5 Benjamin's to fish with that day.

Blacktop,
That is a terrific deal, but oh the pain of not seeing the SM around the corner . Or was it the agony of not another 5-6 Franklin's in the pocket?
Well one never knows, but I limit the funds going to shows also to keep in control of
.
Who am I kidding, there is no control to
!! Very nice catch and great
too!!
If all works out I'll be calling you this weekend..
