Hey, it's yours to enjoy how you see fit! I don't think it would ever stop me from buying one if it were drilled and tapped. Oh, and did you see that barrel was relisted on Ebay. I guess the winner didn't realize it was just a barrel not a barrel assembly and reneged on his bid.

Agreed. Bob is great. $40 to drill and tap plus return shipping. Not horrible.

I am trying to BUY IT NOW but I don’t have GB Pay set up and it’s the only payment method. It’s gonna take several days to get GB Pay account setup due to the series of small deposits they make that are to be used to verify the acct. Called the seller and he is trying to help me buy it with credit card over the phone but he is unable to cancel the auction. I’m not a happy camper at this point.

By the time I get it it would be $200 more because of FFL, shipping and F**king Sales Tax. My 12" will have to do.

yes, with sales tax etc I’m at $1919.03 total cost. I am willing to pay that , BUT because seller has GB Pay as ONLY payment option I’m screwed until I get it set up..and it days until I get it done. I after speaking to the seller and he didn’t intend to be only GB Pay, but all payment options. He was not happy I couldn’t but it now either.

Just got the call from Bob at DW asking for my credit card info to pay for drilling n tapping the shroud. $40 plus $15 for return shipping. He said he'll do his best to remind the office folks to have on the invoice that it was drilled n tapped etc.
Hopefully ship out by tomorrow. Can't wait.

Yea, thanks to GB Pay taking so long to verify my account, I missed buying with BIN @ $1749 by 7 minutes. I was outbid 7 minutes (!) before I got the email my acct was verified. Therefore I had to wait another 11 days and it costed me an additional $750!! GB Pay sucks.

Still haven't received it. I was patient so I emailed Bob on monday and he said I'd have to check with Genny but he thinks it should ship this week. I emailed Genny and she said it WILL ship this week. They've been behind on shipping since they're doing year end inventory. No tracking info yet but hopefully I'll get one tomorrow or Friday....

My FFL is doing same thing right now, year-end inventory. I’ll have 2 DWs to pick up when they open in a couple weeks.

Finally got the shroud back from DW! Luckily no damage during transit
I couldn’t fit the shroud over the barrel due to the burrs from the drilled and tapped holes on the inside of the shroud. Took a few minutes to carefully file the burrs with some diamond files. Fits like a glove now.
Also made sure to loctite the screws and torque to 20 inch pounds. Don’t want to shear off the screws like I did on the 44 mag
Can’t wait to sight it in!
