I saw a model D11 for sale and the label on the box had 3 grip types: Combat, Target, and Michigan.  Anybody know what a Michigan is?  Screwy

If I remember right, a Michigan grip and a Sacramento grip are kind of like a modified finger groove grip for concealed carry.

I'm not sure on this, I thought a Michigan was a smooth target type, but with no flare toward the butt. Same diameter top to bottom, sort of like a curved chunk of oversized broomhandle. I've seen a picture, can't remember where.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's kind of like what I remember, but with finger grooves–you're right about the same size top to bottom.  Turns out we're both right--just different states!  I knew I had a photo somewhere.

Jaggman, are you going after that 'Chop? That's the guy (Rick) that I got my family-o-five 'Chops from, great guy to deal with. That one is actually one of two pairs (4 guns) of sequential s/n D11's that he still has for sale. Those all should still be in unfired condition.

In case you wanted to know.Wink

I think I will watch it as I am also working on a private deal and need to "save-up" for that one before I do anything else. So officially I am not going for it so anyone else interested Buy Now.  I'm looking at reducing my numbers to concentrate on more pressing needs right now.
