I have a model 14. Will a Model 15 porkchop barrel fit to my 14. I understand the front sight will have to change, but I thought the rib was taller on the 15. Will it line up with the frame on the 14? Any help will be much appreciated. I am new to the DW revolvers. I have had a 1911 Patriot bobtail for several years but have just recently been bitten by the revolver tick. I got the fever bad.

Yes you will have POA/POI issues
And, BTW, if that is a picture of your 14, it is a very nice (and not very common) nickel gun, either factory or aftermarket. The grip is definitely not original
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thank you so much for the info. You're absolutely right about the grip. I have what I believe is the original, walnut, I think, checkered with the small medallions that have only a "W" on a background of circles or bubbles. Mine are missing one medallion but they are quite comfortable just not as functional as the Hogue. I just assumed the nickel was factory because I saw a catalog offering the nickel finish. Is there a sure way to tell? Thank you again for the guidance. I will get some pictures of my Pistol Pack and post. I would like to get some info and comments on that too. Thanks again!

Absolutely! On both counts.

Yes, you will have POA/POI issues if you use a 15 or 15-1 BA.
No, the rib is not taller on any of the Porkchop designs, they only grew taller on the 15-2's.
The 15 has a taller front sight & will affect your POI, otherwise, they wil work just fine.

Norhing to add to CF's post except WOW, thats a sweet porkchop. If you have a pistol pack it is more likely to be factory IMHO.Trigger, hammer, and front sight not nickle is indication it is probably factory nickle. Does it have a label on the pac? Glad your here. Have you heard of DWAS? You can specialize or get one or more of every model.

Thanks, Ole dog for the info. The 14 is not part of the Pack. The Pack is a 44 VH10,8,6,4. I will post in a new thread when I get some pics. It is a beauty. So yeah, I got the DWAS and it is worse around pistol packs. Treatment is expensive but great fun!
