Being a Model 14 owner, It's hard to find parts for my beloved Dan Wesson. While the internals are all the same, the shrouds seem to cause me nothing but pain when I go looking for them.
I know the model 15 has had barrels in 2.5" 4" 6" 8" 10" 12" and 15". It's come in stainless and blued, compensated, ported, and heavy underslug barrels.
I've seen Model 14's that had 2.5" 4" and I think I've seen a 6" shroud. Did they make any other barrel sizes? And is there any difference in the shrouds other than the height of the front sight blade?
Are there any other differences besides the lack of adjustable sights?

There were some finish differences, since the 14 was intended to be a Service Model. A 15-2 shroud would be useable once you deal with the front sight height difference. DW/CZ has different height front sights.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I presume you have a 14-2 (non-Porkchop) model. From everything I've seen so far, the 14's were only available in those three barrel lengths...2½", 4", 6". The 14-2's were available in matte or gloss blued finish, matte being more common.
Ya know...you could always leave your 14 the way DW intended & cave into the 'ol by buying yourself a Model 15 to keep it company.
One can never have too many DW's!!

Yes, a 14-2 6 with a standard barrel shroud. looks like yours is the bright blue finish, rather than the matte blue.\
Really nice looking DW
