folks....I'm new to DW revolvers and today I decided to give the old girl a nice deep cleaning. Upon cleaning her I discovered that one of the chambers at the end it's got some concentric circle marks....only one cylinder out of 6.... Has anybody have any idea why? In addition there seems to be a space between the trigger guard and the grip....is this normal...it kinda hurts my hand when I grab it tight shooting .357 MAGs...See pictures...Thanks for all your help guys....looking forward reading your replies.

Perfectly normal, mine had both.
Because I had some extraction issues with not real "spicy" loads I polished (NOT Sanded or Ground) my chambers just to knock the high spots off. The grip I replaced & the gap went away almost completely, but I didn't replace it for that reason I just preferred the "contoured" grip.

Thanks for your answer, so there's nothing major wrong with it...you think the concetric rings on only one chamber was some over site in manufacturing or all of them had it but with time they worn out? Beautiful revolver and both grips are gorgeous...is that an eight inch VH barrel?
Yeah I had to change the wood grips 'cause I like to hold my gun high and my middle finger alway ended up right in that crack and shooting .357 magnum it really hurt so I installed a pair of Presentation Pachmayr that came with the gun and what a difference...

6" VH. I originally thought I wanted a 4" but over time I've grown attached to the longer tube.
It just looks like "chatter marks" from reaming the chambers. I don't think it could "wear out." If it causes a problem have a smith polish them for you.
