I have a Dan Wesson Model 15-2 with serial number 357B004XXX. I had not seen any reference to another serial number with the 357 actually a part of the serial number. There is no spaces and was wondering if this was normal and about what year was manufactured. Love the gun and appreciate any help at all.
Thanks.

The caliber designation ahead of the s/n was used in the final Monson years, and through the Palmer years (through 1995). Your particular gun is an earlier number & could have either plant designation on it, however it was most likely made in the months in & around 1992. With each passing year, we are able to gradually narrow this window...so check back in another year.
BTW, "357B004xxx" tells me your gun is a blued .357 Mag. "357SB004xxx" would be stainless.
[EDIT] Looking back on your posts, I see my guess in the ballpark...
