Nice gun. The space on the right in the foam was for an inleted grip blank so you could carve your own. The W Grip is POWERWOOD, a plastic grip offered with the model 15 known as 15-1. The 15-1had High Standard rear sights instead of the model 12 style sights.

Dyslexia may be affecting my esteemed colleague from the great State of Florida .. the big rectangular space on the left side of the case was for the inleted grip blank.

The case is correct for the era, black with no fabric, very nice with the early style grip medallions
