Hey everyone, new member here and proud new owner of a blued Dan Wesson 45 revolver. The model I acquired came with a 6 inch barrel, and I see on the CZ website that there is an 8” blued barrel available and a sold out 10” blued option as well. The 4” barrel (also sold out) only appears to come in a stainless finish, as there is no option for a 4” blued barrel. There is also no option at all for a 2.5” barrel like with the model 44 or 15. Does anyone know if there are or were 2.5” barrels, or a 4” blued barrel available at any point?

The 8VH barrel is the last one. Once they are listed "out of stock" They will not be coming back. CZ what I have been told by Genny the office manager is they will not be making any more barrels so whatever is in stock that will be the last barrels they offer. I was lucky enough to get the last 6 inch 45 Colt barrel about a month ago. I don't think they ever offered a 2.5 inch barrel. Anyway get what you can at CZ they are getting out of the Dan Wesson revolver business!

Once CZ is out of stock on barrel assemblies, the only other sources for additional BAs will be web sites like eBay, gunbroker.com, guns.com, gunsamerica.com, gunsinternational.com, etc.

I'm just glad I got a 6VH & a 8VH before th
ere gone. I wish I had bought a 4VH but they have been out of those for a while! At least I was able to almost finish my 45 Colt pac! By the way welcome to the forum edt!!!!

Which one of you bought the last 6" blued .357 Max BA this morning???? I was building an order and added one to my cart, but when I checked it wasn't there. Went back and it showed out of stock. Did get a 2.5" .22 and a 4" .44 mag.

Youse guys. Real packs have all Monson , Palmer or Norwich roll marks. Notice the word "or". Mixing roll marks is cheating. Ah, just kidding.

When it comes to the 45 Colt there were so few made there is just not many barrels that ever come up for sale. I could wait 10 years for Monson 45 Colt barrels to come up for sale. At least my 10VH barrel is original Monson and that's pretty rare! I don't even know what 45 Colt barrels were offered. Was there ever a 2.5VH 45 Colt even made? What about a 4VH 45 Colt? Also seems like most 45 Colts were made in stainless steel. You do not see to many blue 45 Colts it would be interesting to see what was offered!

I have an ANIB Monson blue 45VH 6" that showed up on GB at 1AM with a BIN of $986. I woke at 3AM and saw it. Snake-eye has a blue Pistol pack. I also have a 745 10V. Like any large frame gun they made 4,6,8,and 10(91/2)". The only 21/2" BAs for the large frames I know of are 50 from the Monson factory and those made by EWK. I have seen them for sale but I am not interested(scared?) to shoot 44 mag in less than a 4"VH. However, I do have an Astra Terminator. A 44 mag with a 21/2" Barrel. I will probably use 44 Special when I finally shoot that. Like a S&W 29, they are lighter than a DW 44.
AS far as Supermag guns, they too are 4" and up to 10. EWK made 12 a 14 inch BAs

Norwich made 2 1/2" BA's for the 44 Mag.

I'll just leave this here...
My .357 Max has a 4" barrel with it. I don't think that would be pleasant with a full power Max load.

I added this 45 Colt this week. The problem with First Issues is you can't add barrels if you want them to match! 5 First Issues and counting!
