Check further up in this forum (What model do I have?) and be prepared with:
Stainless or blue
Fixed or adjustable rear sight
Shroud-straight or "pork chop" style
These three indentifiers will be the most help, Model Numbers are not normally marked on the revolver. Photos will help as well.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
