Just thinkin' out loud here.
So I intend to prep this 14-2 I bought from SHOOT for CCW ... currently has the big ole stock grip on it.
Originally my plan was to modify the stock grip something like this (although probably without the checkering...maybe I'll stipple it or maybe cut groves across it like a broomhandle Mauser?):

But considering my original plan when I came across this 14-2 was to buy a vintage S&W 19 and put a set of Magnas and T-Grips on it, I wonder if I couldn't modify these grips with a Tyler (still sorting out how I'd do it) into something like this:

I'm thinking maybe using the dremmel to cut two thin slots in the front edge of the DW grip for the two tabs on the T-grip to slide into and then filling the slots with epoxy ... or maybe cross drilling it and pinning the grip in place ... dunno yet.
One thing I like about my original idea is the shorter grip ... also there isn't a chance that Tyler at one time made T-Grips for DWs?
(oh and if anyone has one of these grips they'd let go for $20 or less, let me know ... not sure I want to spend $50 on something I'm going to hack on...that and I only have $20 at the moment )
