Give kieth at Dan Wesson a call he will have what you need.  There is thread somewhere with  his contact info.

Almost certain they will not send anything to Sweden

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

OH I didnt catch that you are not in the US.  Steve is correct, I doubt they will sell to Sweeden.  A good gun smith maybe able to make something.  Just a thought, sinceDan Wesson is owned by CZ and they are international, maybe contacting a CZ dealer in Sweeden would be a place to start.

Just wondering how did that break?

You may have to have a machine shop make you a replacement part, just a thought.

My 15-2 broke in the same place. I sent it back to the factory and they fitted a new cylinder rod to the original crane. I think a talented gunsmith/machinist could make the part and fit it. Dimensions particularly length would be critical. Perhaps by contacting the factory a blueprint of the broken part could be had?

It broke while firing, got a sticky action after 4 rounds opened and it was loose.

I talked to the CZ dealer in Sweden earlier about DW 1911 he hardly knew he carried them :/ but there is another dealer here that imports gun parts going to talk to him.

Locks like we don't have any good gun smiths in Sweden at least not DW friendly, got turned down by all that advertise.

No relative or friend in the U.S.

Thanks for all the ides an input.

Do you or any member  have a part number  for what you need. Santa is watching and making lists.

Parts can be imported but not sent directly to the buyer. They would have to do through an importer with the appropriate license. I know nothing of the laws regulating such things in Sweden. However, in the US you can often find companies with import licenses who will do it. Also, a regular FFL holder can import if they are willing to fill out the proper paperwork and if you are willing to wait to have it approved.

I've ordered parts for my SIG Sauer handguns from Germany before and did receive some magazines from a company over seas. I'm still not entirely sure how that happened, but it did. An FFL locally here, the owner of which is from Canada originally, is familiar and used to dealing with that sort of thing and filled out a request to import.

I agree that they can be imported, unfortunately, CZ/DW will not get involved in being the exporter, nor will Numrich, the two most likely suppliers for this part.

I know that there have been times in the past that private individuals have sent "hardware" or "machine parts" to friends in Canada and Australia. Please don't ask how I know this, but I know it happened.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Seems like a machine shop or buddy with a lathe could make that up easily.

Right on, try to find someone locally with machining equipment-not surprising you didn't have any luck with the gunsmiths, many of them don't seem inspired to take on projects like this one.

Also, if you get really desperate, what about a trip to the USA? I am not sure of the legalities involved there, but its something to check into.
