I think many of us here have hoped for and anticipated the re-intro of the Dan Wesson revolver line. From a strictly selfish standpoint, my only interest is whether they will service current guns. I am troubled by the lack of a wholehearted commitment on the part of CZ to have a strong revolver line. We all hear stories seeming to say that they will. In any case, I wonder even if they come out with a small line of guns, that the long term commitment may not be there. Also, I would like to see a robust customer service group. It seems to me that what they have now is just an informal method to do this. I know they ain't Ruger, but it seems like they don't want to allocate serious resource to the revolver line. My .445 Supermag is a gem, but I worry about long-term effort on the part of CZ. Thoughts?

It's always frustrating to me to see "CZ" and "DW" linked, because MegaCZ seems to lose LittleDW sometimes. The reality as I see it is:
1) Dan Wesson is a firmly established 1911 manufacturer with a great reputation and fully stable in the firearms marketplace.
2) Keith, Priscilla, Genny and all the fine folks at Dan Wesson have continued over the years to support DW revolver owners tremendously with parts, repair, and maintenance on 30+ year old guns.
3) A "new" revolver was introduced this year, reinforcing to some extent the revolver legacy.
4) If MegaCZ continues to operate DW as a 1911 manufacturer and this keeps our revolver support in place, I'm good with that.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

But why do they continue to tease? The new revolver is on again, off again on their website. Then I buy the 2012 Special Edition of American Handgunner and listed in the back buyer's guide are 3 THREE models of revolvers from Dan Wesson /CZ.
a DW 715 in 357 Mag,
an Alaskan Guide in 445 SuperMag, 44 Mag, 44 Spl
and a "Small Frame Series" in 22LR, 22 Mag, 32 H&R, 32-20 and 357 Mag
Somebody get their wires crossed?
