Okay, you all wanted me to post pics.  Here she is!

I took it to the range today.  It's VERY sweet.  And very accurate.  Perhaps as or more accurate than my Les Baer 1911, which is really saying a lot.  I'll admit that it feels funny.  I've been a pistol only shooter for over a decade, and have never fired a revolver.  The whole feel is very much different.

There is a funny symetry here.  My first gun was a Sig P228.  I got this purely for self defense, and so I wanted to practice the first shot extensively.  This involved "BANG!", decock, "Bang!", decock.  Similarly, I really like the single action trigger on this.  "BANG!", cock, "BANG!", cock.

Thank you all again for recommending I purchase this. Now I need to get a reloading die, brass, blah blah.

Congratulations on your purchase and thanks for sharing your picture!  There's just something about shooting a fine wheel gun... Hope you enjoy it!

Yep, revolvers do have a different feel to them. You know you're not holding an auto, plus one big advantage is that you don't have to chase your brass.Laugh

Nice looking DW, congrats!occasion

Glad you enjoyed the experience. There seems to be a lowered level of anxiety when shooting a revolver. When you just want to deliver 158 grains of lead to a precise point about 25 yards away with no drama....a wheelie delivers.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.
