Hello DWF-members and readers. I thought the elderly Lt. in the ispictures would show off his Dan Wesson Model 11, serial number 1131. I wish I had a great range report on my DW, but haven't been shooting as much in recent times. Ammunition component/prices are still high and I need to reload some .38's for proper range practice. I do carry this original DW on-duty and have made some Kodak-moments, in recent times, at the range. The Model 11 is my favorite DW of the very modest DW collection I have. I have achieved the most, in shooting this Model 11 at the range, when shooting regularly. My 'seasoned' physique is 'compromised' now through advancing age and arthritis/pain in my hands, other than that I'm tip-top! I never will forget that match last year, when my Model 11 was able to dust off the competition, consisting of Glocks and S&W M&P .45 Pistols. With small help from myself, we took 1st Place in A-Class, with a "459" with 18-X's. This was the "best" ever for me and my Model 11 played a big part on this wonderful day, last year.
