Hey everyone.
I'm new to this site and was recommended by a few people from SGN. I have a .357 Dan wesson and I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it. Year, model, value, options etc. The only numbers on the gun is 43719. Thanks.

to the . What you have is a model 14 porkchop. The porkchop is a nickname because of the leg on the barrel shroud. I believe your gun was born around 1974 or 5. You can find 2.5 and 4 inch barrels for it on the auction sites fairly regularly. Any small frame grips should work on this shooter. Value is real subjective to condition and location, but I would say in the $300.00 to $400.00 range most places.
Kick back and hang out for a while and enjoy the site.

Depending on what you paid for it, rebluing probably wouldn't add much value above the bluing cost itself. So if you do it, it should probably be for personal reasons...because you'd like to own it wearing a fresh finish.
The grips aren't original to the gun, those were made in the earlier "-2" years. Your gun would originally have come with grips with no medallions.
