i have a model 44VH that i am gonna use for hunting deer with this year. i am thinking about a scope, but i want a set of Millett target sights for it.
any ideas on where those can be had? optics planet doesnt have any in stock, and since they are discontinued, it is doubtful they will get any anytime soon...
as far as scope mounts go, what is a good one to use? where can i get it, and what scopes are yall using on yours? do you use shooting sticks to steady your aim? i am really thinking i may need some with my 8" heavy barrel?
next, i have a model 14 i carry. i would love to get some smaller grips, but i dont like the skinny ones like i have seen on some gunbroker guns. i would prefer the fat grips like the hogue or pachmyers, but just shorter. i have big hands.
also, what IWB holster do yall prefer for the DW? i have simplyrugged holsters for other guns, but are they too big for IWB wear?

Millet Sights-Watch Gun Broker and Ebay, I've bought them on both sites.
Scope Mounts- I like Burris the best, pretty hard to find. BSquare more commonly available, a little bigger and clunkier. There's a set of Leupold no drill rings on Ebay right now for another 10 hours.
Scope-I'm using a Bushnell Trophy 2-6 on my 715, this photo also shows the Burris mount:
If you want grips, there is no better place than LB Custom Grips, Lawrence can do ANYTHING with a DW grip. Check the Forum sidebar, second down from the top.
Holster-I like DeSantis Cozy Partner for IWB, but I do not have one for any revolvers.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
