Don't ask me how, but I broke off my ejector rod in my extractor shaft. So long story short is I need a ejector rod and and an extractor for my model 15-2(pistol pack) Numrich Gun Parts Corp has the ejector rod, but the extractor is listed as sold out, and I would prefer to only have to order from one site and in return only have to pay one shipping charge. Anyone know of a source or have an extra laying around they would be willing to sell me?
Thanks in advance,
Gary

If it broke off could you remove the broken piece and just replace the rod? Show us some pics of what you dealing with and maybe someone has the parts or the knowledge to help out!
The ejector rod snapped off right where it threads into the extractor, the extractor is fine other than having a threaded section of ejector rod stuck in it and it is flush so there is nothing to get a bite on to remove.
As to how I did this, well lets just say with my super human strength sometimes these things happen to me.

Charger Fan got me to thinking, even though there was not enough to grasp with pliers there was enough sticking up so that I could file it flat without damaging the extractor shaft. I did so and then cut a very slight grove across it and after letting sit with some liquid wrench I was able to get just enough bite with a tiny chisel and a few very gentle later WAAA LAAAA!!!!! it broke lose. I backed it the rest of the way out with my fingers and now all I need to do is order the replacement rod. the extractor is good to go. If you look closely you can see the groove/slot I cut in the short piece. Here's to you Charger Fan

You may be able to have a gunsmith remove the broken rod from the ejector shaft. It would take a dinky little drill bit on drill press, but I bet it could be done. A machinist may be able to do it too, providing he's got stuff that small.

Way to go, that worked perfect!
Looking at your pic, the threads that are left on the rod appear to be stretched. That comes from over tightening the rod, which will fatigue & stretch the metal. Being in the motorcycle biz, I see that kind of thing all the time.
I'm just saying that as a helpful pointer, something to be aware of in the future.
