Just bought what I think is a 15-2 357. Not sure of Vintage, (would like to know). It has serial number 207xxx. And made in Monson. The guy at CZ thought maybe late 70s?
Anyway I bought it cheap I think. 240.00. It has beautiful blue and appears hardly ever fired.
Now to why it was so low priced probably. It has a very nice shroud, and blueing matches the frame to a T. But the problem is the shroud is marked 22 LR. I put an ad here hoping someone has the reverse problem, and they have the wrong shroud on their 22. Not likely but worth a shot I guess.
I would never even have thought the 22LR and 357 shrouds would even interchange. But it appears they do. My history of knowledge on Dan Wessons is 3 days old now, so know next to nothing.
It is a 8 inch barrel, vented rib, and a heavy rib the whole length on the underside.
I would guess the heavy 22 shroud would be pretty hard to find. Or alot harder than the 357 anyway.
What may look like discoloration spots on the barrel, they are not. Reflections. Blue is perfect.
Will post a pic, or try anyway..Thanks

Well Stinger only has the lighter barrel with out the full rib along the bottom. I want to hold out for one as the same 22 Heavy one for now. Only marked for 357 of course.
Feel free to let me know what you have to offer..PM and we can exchange email pics if you like. Thanks
