I was as usual window shopping today at the local pawn store and what do I see but a Dan Wesson 6" pork chop. Having owned one in the 80's I couldn't resist looking at it. Now I own it, oh yeh it was unfired still had the paperwork from 1981 only thing that keeps me from jumping up and down is it has fixed sights but then so did the one I owned before. Now I'm torn should I shoot it or not. And where can I get a feeler gage for it, it has the wrench with caps.
I think it needs oil and to be used. What do you think.

I'm curious about your dated paperwork...is it a sales receipt that says 1981? The reason I'm wondering is that the Porkchop guns were made from 1970 to 1975(ish). So that would mean that it took a half dozen years for that gun to be sold.
