Interesting. That is a different front site than what I saw last night. I can't remember the vents in the shroud, if they were multiples or one larger like Harly's pic from the 2011 SHOT show. I wonder if that is a real pic or an artist's drawing? Thanks for posting it.

It's not the real picture in the listing – it's the mockup drawing that was published last year when the release was announced. The vents in the pics were actually multiple slots, you just cant see the separations inside due to the slanted profile of the shroud. Price is right where I pegged it at.

You're right Harly, good call on the price.
I'm sure Cove Creek Outfitters is a large store & generally just post catalog pics, but you'd think that with an all new model like this, they'd make an exception & post a shot of the actual gun.

At that price no thanks. There is a nice model 40 on GB now for $150 less. If I were in the buying mood I would rather have it. That's just me though.

Hosspower post in other topic that he called and seller had them in hand.
If not for the 3hr + drive one way and the fact that I would still have
pay FFL and shipping back home to OH. I might entertain the idea.
But there's no way I drop 1K without fondling the gun.
Heck even when it's only 5-6 hundred I ask for a half dozen to be
brought out so I can cherry pick....exactly the reason I have yet to
buy a gun or a vehicle on the Internet.

Hello guys I work at a local gun store part time and we got one in on Thursday. It now has my name on it. It is extremely well made and locks up tight, the trigger pull is the only thing that I was not thrilled with, a little heavy but otherwise it is every bit as nicely made as an original Norwich gun or better. It came with rubber grips so my question for EWK is will one of their grips fit on it? That's it for now as I did'nt have time for any pics. Sorry.

I'll second that, we need some of this one.
Regarding whether LB grips will fit (EWK doesn't make grips as of yet), well, you may be able to tell us in the end. I assume that the grip tang is still made to the 15-2 specs, but that's only my assumption. I doubt LB (or EWK, for that matter) has seen one of these new ones in person, so it's up to whoever tries the swap first & reports back with their findings.
