I recently picked up not one but TWO 741 stainless steel 41 magnums: one eight inch 741V and one six inch 741V. The first one on the left is used but the one on the right seems like the previous owner only fired a few shots from it before squirreling it away. As you can see, it comes with all the "necessary propaganda" to include the multiple tool, Dan Wesson Gift Shop Catalog, instruction manual, envelope for the plastic tool covers, yellow plastic guard in between the back of the cylinder and recoil plate, and a 1983 dated letter of congrats to the new proud owner of the revolver (not to mention the original box and the shredded remains of the original bubble wrap). I ended up firing the 741V 8" using some Speer 210 rounds (at $32.00 for a box of 20!) at a shooting range in Tampa. It would shoot tighter groups were it not for the danged ventilation blowing the target hither and yon.
As to the other 6" 741V: I haven't fired it (nor had the heart to). I don't know what to do with the extremely nice nearly new 741 but I'll probably keep it for trading stock on some unobtainium Dan Wessons I have yet to get (like a highly unlikely 414, 7414, 7360, 7460, or 745). So what does "DWAS" stand for? Dan Wesson Arms "sickness"?

Those are two beauties. I have to reload my blue steel one. The price of ammo is pretty high. Bitterroot Valley ammo is the cheapest and best ammo i have found. http://www.bvac-ammo.com/ I think I paid 35.00 for 50 rounds.

From what I could discern this is a dealer only company?
