Well the new 715 is a hoot to shoot with 4\" barrel and  poly coated lead bullet over Trail Boss powder. I used about 5gr best I remember.rnAnyway I went to shoot the 715 a few days ago and realized after about 600 to 800 10mm & 38 Super DW\'s (I don\'t use sights, I shoot the combat style I was taught about 50 years ago and I can hit the 6\" one 2 out of 3 times but with the revolver I use the sights. Well all the paint is gone off the 2 steel targets (6\" x 6\" & 34\" x 18\") and when front sight went over the target it was a guess as to where I was on the target so I gave and was going to paint the target again but was out of paint and hardware store was 25 miles away. So I had bright idea of getting HV front sight from EWK and I guess I wait till it get here before shooting again. Kids are back in school so I don\'t have brass chasers and at my age my back doesn\'t bend well so was switching to 715 because I can drip empties into bucket by my chair.

I placed fiber front sights on the few DWs that I hunt with. My eyes pick up the green best.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I put an EWK fiber front sight on my 15-V8 that I used in ICORE competitions, for quick target acquisition .. worked great.

Get a pick stick. Then you won't have to bend over to pick up your brass.smile

Yes definitely buy the EWK fiber optic front sight. Dan Wesson also sells a fiber optic sight. I bought one of those early last year and it works fine.

I guess the only thing I didn't like about the EWK sight is the height. It seems like I had to bottom out the rear sight in order to get it sighted in at ~15 yards.

EWK makes a taller fiber optic sight to handle that problem. It works great!

Good to hear. Love the new version 715 bought 8/20, wish I hadn't sold my previous 6 older 722, 715, 744 and blued versions. But such is life

I have trouble reading key board and screen on lap top.

Have 3 pick up sticks in house and have to use a walker. Thank God it has a seat built into the thing.

I thought he only makes one type of fiber optic front sight?

Not sure what others have but my new EWK has two ways to install. One way is large end towards front of the barrel which put rear of sight low on barrel, reverse the install and the sight will have HV up about height of regular/stock sight.

I just installed it this AM and haven’t had a chance to shoot yet thanks to weather, arthritis and doctors appointments. My 715 was made 2-20 and I bought it 6-20. So far I guess I have about 800 or so rounds down the pipe.
