This is probably old news but I had a dickens of a time locating a combat grip and here is what happened.
A friend of mine inherited a whole pile of gun parts. I was telling him about the huge DW grip and that the only guy who made custom grips quit taking orders. I told him if I could get a hold of second coke bottle grip I would grind it down to size. He came back with the grip you see on the gun. What a wonderful grip. You couldn't ask for anything better. That will be the cat's meow with a 2" barrel w/flash hider on Wheel Gun Weds. down at the gunshop.
Have you seen a grip like that before? It is ergonomically very pleasant for a combat handgun.

I believe the grip you reference is called a service grip (not sure though). These grips can be found regularly on GB and the like, and are available new from CZ/DW.
P.S.
I heard a rumor that that grip guy only stopped taking orders until the back log got caught up and he will resume taking orders soon.

If the "grip guy" would just give up on making a living and having a life, then we could get our damn grips (wait a minute, I've gotten more grips than I ever asked for, time to shut up).
That grip is a standard DW grip, there is even a rounded butt version of it that is sort of a "Birdshead" grip.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yip, Hey LB, it is ok! Take your time! Now when you get them orders filled I wanna be first in line for a couple!
The grip is the Service model came with 14-2's. I have some in good shape others are well used. Enjoy it nice to have those floating around in your friends goodies!

Apologies not necessary. I do not like stopping taking orders but dislike making the customers wait to long even more. Good luck on the 2.5 BA hunt and looking forward to some pics from wheel-gun Wednesdays.
