Here is my first Dan Wesson Revolver, Bought it in Hawaii in 1984 while in the USMC, Still have all the paper work and all that looks like it is missing is put away since I just moved. This is 44VH pistol pack
The Pistol is one I just bought today. Dan Wesson CBOB, bought it from the original owner who never shot it, still has all the paper work and all the usual stuff that comes with a new gun. strange serial # C45xCZ
Cant wait until it is out of the 10 day hold so I can go shoot it. its 45acp caliber.

I will post it as soon as I find it, just moved into a new house and before I could even unpack half of my things I found out what it is like to fall off the roof onto concrete and a ladder.
I think the ladder broke my fall and a few other things but I'm still here, will be awhile before I can shoot the new cbob but it will be my new carry gun and will get lots of use.
i reload and usually shoot about 5-8000 rounds a years between all my guns. They are like my old cars, no fun unless you use them.
I'm so sorry to hear about your fall. I am 63 and hear of people my age falling off roofs and ladders all the time. I go on my roof to clean the gutters several times a year and the last couple of times I got a little vertigo. Felt dizzy. I think the little bones in the ear calsify. I think the time has come for me to get my sons to do it. Hope you heal up with no problems. I suspect your my age. In your prime +.

I will post some of the Daytona latter today, I am just finishing a ground up restoration on it, still have wiring and interior to do, until then I have a 70 440 6 pack challenger to drive and a few Packards an old v12 Lincoln a 32 Buick rumble seat coupe and a couple horseless carriage cars.
i like taking them to the rifle and pistol range as it usually frees up a spot when people go out to look at them.

I will just post a few car pics for now and will add some more latter dont want the moderators to get mad at me. First one is a 1940 Packard 180, was the show car for the 39 worlds fair in San Francisco, second one is a 1939 Packard V12 7 passenger touring, 3rd and 4th are the Daytona, My son and I painted it flat black for Sacramento Autorama last year, we were a long way from finishing it and used the black as a guide coat to get the body straight, when we got back we were told we had 3 weeks to get it out of the shop we were doing the work in so it got painted white, We had it blocked and painted and all the suspension and roll cage welded in in that 3 week time, not bad for two people. I plan on taking it to the salt flats to race it there and then to the silver state races.
d at me.

I must say, that is a most impressive collection of fine vintage automobiles, you have them in beautiful condition.
My neighbor had a Daytona in Richard Petty orange back in the mid '70's, 440 six pack and that 'surf board' spoiler. Great car.
On the serial number of your CBOB, I think the C stands for CBOB, the 45X is the production number and the CZ suffix indicates the gun was made since Dan Wesson was acquired by CZ-USA.
Earlier guns from the Bob Serva era won't have that CZ suffix.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

I doubt there much of a chance of that happening.
Thanks for showing off your cool auto collection, they are all real beauties! If you end up taking your Daytona to the Salt Flats next year for speed week, I may run into you there. If so, I'll be sure to say hi.
