Those are really small grips, with my huge hands I’d have a really hard time holding that steady too.  I’ve never heard of Talon patches before.  From memory, I think I saw several Pachmeyer grips on eBay today.  Not sure if they were were for large or small frame.  

  

Kurt, I actually think you are onto it.  The grips are slippery and I think more importantly they are so small I can’t get a grip! Looking at EBay everyday hoping for the Grippers! Thanks

  

The Pachmayr Presentation grips come in large and small. The small version is on my 15-2 pictured. I especially like the Pachmayr on the DWs because they're one piece to go over grip stud instead of two piece on a full grip frame that often leaves a gap. Finger groove grips like the "Gripper" and Hogue don't fit everyones fingers which is a reason you might like the small Presentation grip better. The downside is the Presentation grip may not work for you AIWB.
