Hello everyone,
First let me say this is a great forum, but I'm a bit confused on finding info on my revolver. It would seem that there is a lot of different models from different time periods.
The revolver I bought is a stainless .22 with a 4" barrel. I believe it's a heavy barrel vented model.
It's a Monson gun. Serial is S0017xx
I've been looking for more barrels but I only seem to be able to find blued barrel/shrouds.
Does anyone know of a source for more barrels? And any info about this gun would be great.
I'll add a picture ASAP.

Welcome Home!
You have a 722 (7=Stainless, 22= Model, in this case (and rarely for DW) it follows the caliber
4 VH= 4" barrel with a Vent Heavy (Vent rib, Heavy underlug)
Honestly B/A's for the stainless 22's are tough to find at a decent price, try eBay and Gun Broker.
The Good News is that the .22 lr can really reward a shooter with accuracy and the ability to shoot a lot, and your 722 lives to be shot a lot. Have some fun!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for the info! I figured the Stainless B/A's were hard to come by since I have found zero for sale
From what I have read there are basically three generation of the 722. I believe I have the second generation based on the barrel nut and the manufacture location and serial. I have an opportunity to purchase a blued DW .357 with the full set of barrels from the same seller that I purchased this 22 from. I think it was a pistol pack but the box and swag are long gone. The seller's husband passed away a little over a year ago and she is just now feeling like she can let go of some of his belongings.
I'll post some pics later today.

There is really only one Model 722/22. The differences in barrel nut and shroud really only apply to the .357's.
722's were made Monson and Palmer, but they are essentially the same gun.
