Welcome to the Forum, that is indeed a 1977. I am the original owner of 7261x, and I can tell you that the grips are exactly correct. The one loose in your Pack is identical to mine, yours is one of the very few others like it I have seen. You also have a correct barrel wrench, please do yourself a favor and don't use it. If you are not careful you can round out the slots in the barrel nut, especially if the barrel has not been removed in many years. If you must use it, go very slow and keep the tines of the hex headed "spud" very firmly in place. The EWK Arms wrench (see the right sidebar) is the only wrench I will ever use.
My guess is that the fabric was removed and lost at some time, it is easily replaced.
Your gun should have recessed chambers to enclose the cartridge rim, and the trigger overtravel screw is probably integral to the trigger, rather than frame mounted behind the trigger.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Your Pac case may have not originally had fabric in it, especially if you have a black case. I'm fairly certain they introduced the fabric around the time they switched to the brown cases, which I think was sometime during '78.
From here, everything else looks correct in your Pac. Congrats on your cool find & aboard!
