Came by an absolutely NIB 738P with both tools and manual, even the dessicant paper and warranty card! I've been looking all over for a value...not really a collector, and would love to trade for a magnum of some kind. Trouble is, I don't know the value...my one friend who knows something about these claims they're rare, but you know how that goes...need an expert opinion!
Thanks in advance- Plain Old Bill

The 738P is also known as the L'il Dan. They are generally hard to come by. There are at least two members of this forum that each have one. Value would be difficult to determine, given the rarity of the pistol. NIB will add to the value of course.

I don't remember what I paid for mine. Probably around $300, but I didn't write it down. Didn't bother to negotiate either, these things are damn hard to find.
Pricing on one of these is a matter of finding the right buyer. You would get a lot more for one here than on a general gun board.
Wow- for all those who emailed me, thank you very much for the information. I had absolutely no idea how rare these little guys are. Sure glad I didn't shoot it!
A couple of folks have offered trades. After the holidays I'll see if we can work something out locally with one of them. This pistol belongs in the hands of a collector, and I humbly submit that I am only an accumulator.
I will attempt to take some pictures just for showing over the holidays.
Thanks again- POB
